“After a young nomad stumbles upon ancient ruins in a forgotten valley, she reluctantly confronts her past as she races to save her people from the hands of a vengeful god.”
Ganayegi Animation is an indigenous-owned hobby animation studio located in the United States with one big goal: Bringing to life an idea I’ve had for nearly 10 years. What started as a capstone project for college has grown into an entire fantasy world filled with unforgettable characters, epic adventures, and thought-provoking topics. Aria is an original TV series that features a fast-paced adventure with mature themes and balanced humor.
Being a hobby studio means that everything is voluntary with no real deadlines, however, my ultimate goal is to use this pilot to generate enough income to be able to hire artists for the rest of this series! YouTube ad revenue and shop merchandise would be the initial income streams. A kickstarter (after the pilot is made) to help fuel future episodes is something I’m considering too. To make the income streams more sustainable, I intend to invest some of the revenue with a financial advisor so the money can multiply passively. In my dream world, this pilot would get picked up by an established production, however, that’s not something I can control. So until that day comes, this is the plan to push forward.
I’m excited to share more than just the finished product! Along the way, we'll be posting concept art, behind-the-scenes looks, production updates, and a peek into what it takes to make a pilot. Thanks for following along, genuinely. There are so many worthy indie studios out there trying to tell their stories, and the fact that you clicked on this link means a lot to me.
